Privacy Policy

Effective 26 October 2026

4AX TetraAxial collects no personal information. It is a sensor logger: the data it records stays on your device, and anything it streams goes only to a receiver you choose on your own network. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

The short version

What the app accesses, and why

The app asks for the following permissions only to do its job. Each is used on-device; none sends data to us.

PermissionWhy it's used
Camera & ARKit6DOF camera-pose tracking. Frames are processed live for pose only — they are never recorded or stored.
MotionLogs accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer data.
Location (GPS)Logs position synchronized to motion, only while you have it enabled.
MicrophoneDecodes LTC timecode from an audio feed. Audio is never recorded or stored.
BluetoothReceives MIDI Time Code (MTC) from external timecode hardware.
Local NetworkStreams sensor data over OSC/UDP to the receiver you configure.

Data storage & sharing

On your device. Recordings are written as CSV files in the app's own storage. You choose whether to export or share them using the system share sheet. Deleting the app removes them.

On your network. When OSC streaming is on, sensor data is sent as UDP messages to the address and port you set. That traffic goes only where you point it; the app contacts no other server.

No developer collection. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. The app contains no analytics or advertising frameworks and no third-party SDKs.

Tracking

4AX TetraAxial does not track you. It does not use the advertising identifier, does not build a profile, and does not share data with data brokers or ad networks.

Children

The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
